Fall Student Council

WHITTIER, Calif. (December 5, 2019) —

Fall Student Council members have been very busy with events such as Red Ribbon Week and the Holiday Auction, spirit week, as well as our sock and book drives.

Thank you to all for participating and making this year’s Socktober such a success!  Socktober results are in!  Last year as a school, we were able to collect 529 pairs of children’s socks and 328 pairs of adult socks for a grand total of 857 pairs of socks!  This year we were able to collect 718 pairs of children’s socks and 289 pairs of adult socks for a grand total of 1007 pairs of socks!  The socks were donated to First Day, a local shelter in the Whittier community. They were so pleased and thankful for the donation again this year!

Our used book drive ends Friday, December 13—thank you for your continued generosity each and every year. We have already collected many boxes of books!  Books will be donated to The Whole Child benefitting children and adults ages 0-24 years old.

Congratulations to the Fall Student Council members for their leadership and community service.  We look forward to Spring 2020 Student Council elections for fifth through eighth graders.
