WHITTIER, Calif. (March 24, 2017) — Broadoaks students celebrated World Water Day (March 22) with Cambria McFindley-Grubb, a UNICEF-USA representative. Cambria presented about the global water crisis to grades three, four, and six and took the students on a “water walk” to teach them about the water situation in Nicaragua. She had great conversations with the students around topics such as fairness, gender equality, and sustainable development goals. Thank you, Cambria, for continuing to educate our youth about global citizenship.
