This event is part of Broadoaks’ and OMEP-Whittier College’s commitment to the equity and social justice dimension of the United Nations approach to global sustainable development. Each year students select reputable local, national, and global children’s charities to receive proceeds from the event.
This year for the first time Broadoaks preschoolers also participated in the event by running, walking, hopping (whatever!) around the track in the new preschool play yard. They had a blast! Many thanks to all who participated and/or sponsored joggers!
