Broadoaks’ facilities reflect the school’s central focus on active learning, community engagement, individual responsibility, and creativity. Indoors, Broadoaks has created nurturing, home-like environments that promote independence and accommodate different learning styles.
Outside learning spaces are important at Broadoaks as well. Young children garden, paint, build, and play freely outdoors throughout the day, not just during scheduled recess times. Older children frequently work on assignments and projects outside as well. Each preschool and elementary classroom has its own garden. There’s both an indoor and outdoor art studio. Elementary and middle school students have access to the entire Whittier College campus for their daily work and play.
Program offerings are subject to change based on Public Health guidelines.
