The Broadoaks Parent Organization supports annual events, such as the Holiday Auction and Pancake Breakfast, that provide the fundraising base for the school. Others support Broadoaks because they believe in the school’s work for children and for educators. Broadoaks relies primarily on the generosity of donors to maintain its services because a priority of the school is to maintain a representative socio-economic, ethnic, and ability balance in all classrooms. This balance is crucial to the school’s work in teacher education, since a student population that approximates that of the public schools provides the most meaningful “learning laboratory” for both current and future teachers.
School events, volunteer opportunities, and visitor policies are subject to change based on Public Health guidelines. For additional information contact the office at 562-907-4250.
